Photographer Juan Camilo Roa (b. 1985, Bogotá, Colombia) works with a visual language built around architecture, details, lines, colours, patterns and geometry. His images find graphic compositions in the built environment, reading structure, material, and light with equal attention to precise detail and the broader scene. Based in Berlin since 2005, he collaborates with architecture studios and interior designers across Germany and Colombia, while developing an independent fine art practice. Juan Camilo studied photography at the Lette Verein Berlin.
